Seth Fierston

Seth co-founded Fierston Financial Group in 1989 after working as a Senior Accountant at Price Waterhouse in Washington, D.C. He brings more than 30 years of financial knowledge to the firm and earned his B.A. in Accounting from Franklin and Marshall College.

In addition to his role at FFG, Seth currently serves as a member of the investment committee of Congregation Beth Israel and as a board member of the Bras Coupe Hunting & Fishing Club. He was a former Chair of the HARC Foundation and Chair of the Board of Directors of HARC, Inc., an organization that serves people with intellectual disability and related challenges,

Seth is a passionate fisherman and also enjoys kayaking, riding his Peloton, and a variety of other outdoor activities. He lives in West Hartford with his wife, Sharon, and Golden Retriever, Leo.

What brought you to wealth management as a career?
I wanted to help people reach their goals without selling them a product.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given?
My father taught me to be an active listener so that I can provide my clients advice that serves them best.

What’s most fulfilling about your work?
Educating our clients – helping clients fully grasp their financial position and the solutions we recommend.

What’s your ideal day outside the office?
Any day spent on the water with family and friends!

What is your favorite food?
Corned beef sandwich from Katz’s or the old Carnegie Deli in NYC and Double Stuf Oreos.
